I met a doctor and an engineer,
I met a lawyer and an actor,
I spoke to the politician and social reformers,
I walked with the army men.
I also was with a Hindu, a Muslim and a Christian,
I was the hunter and the guardian.
What did not find was a human.
There were professions and religions,
There were but no visions.
The world is walking on a rough path I was told,
The human however here was not sold.
I walked still in search,
I went to a temple a mosque and also a church.
The only thing I found was more professions,
They all lived with their own tensions.
I looked still wider in hope to find,
I knew still the whole world wasn’t blind.
Somewhere someone may have spotted a human,
Somewhere someone may be still a human.
I finally sat at a bench outside a house,
My eyes were a fast browse.
A small girl playfully came along,
She was singing to me a sweet song.
Then she asked me are you looking for me,
I did smile and said yes I looketh for thee.
She just said then come along and play,
You look tired stay for a day.
I will give you shelter for the night,
And some food packed for your further flight.
She did not know my journey had ended,
In a human’s house I had landed.
